NURSE ACADEMY
OBJECTIVE
The Astellas Nurse Academy Network project aimed to create an engaging invitation video for the Nurse Academy "network".
The most challenging aspect for me in this project was learning a new After Effects plugin to ensure the project's success.
I. APPROACH
I was Intrigued by the complexity of their logo, a molecular-inspired sphere..
.. and the first idea that came to mind was to have this sphere rotating.
II. IMPLEMENTATION
Considering the intricate design, I took on the challenge of rebuilding it in After Effects, using a plugin-tool "Plexus 3."
Allowing me to craft it from scratch in a 3D space..
..The result? Their logo made a striking entrance, elegantly spinning for the very first time!
I also played around with changing the sphere's shape to create forms that represent a "network."
These abstract cluster of dots connected to each other became a fitting visual to convey the idea of "connecting".
III. RESULTS & CONCLUSION
Combining 3D motion graphics, and abstract forms, resulted in an engaging piece that resonated with the Nurse Academy Network's theme.
Bringing Astellas' molecular-inspired sphere logo into motion, the project not only adhered to their brand but also enhanced the overall visual appeal of the Nurse Academy Network invitation.
The experimentation with abstract forms added a creative touch that aligned perfectly with the network's innovative spirit.
